CARO ROCK

Caro Rock is the publisher of Family Business Magazine which reaches CEOs of private and family companies nationally.  Caro grew up in a family business in Kansas City, Mo. that manufactured and sold Ceresota and Heckers Flour, Wheatena and Maypo hot cereals and Patio Chef Charcoal. Previously, she was the founder and publisher of Main Line Life, a community newspaper covering the western suburbs of Philadelphia. Caro sits on the board of Thomas Jefferson University Health System and has chaired its nominating and governance committee since 2008. Rock is also a board member of the Rock School for Dance Education and was chairman for 15 years. She continues to serve on the School of American Ballet advisory committee and is a member of the Forum of Executive Women. Caro was a previous board member of the Main Line Chamber of Commerce, World Affairs Committee, and Free Library of Philadelphia. She has a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Tulane University and completed Harvard Business School’s Executive Education Program on nonprofit management in 2006.
